Project Background

How a Turkish consumables distributor, referred to us by a mutual industry contact, built a stable monthly coverslipping film business with JunTeng Medical — and is now preparing to sign a regional agency agreement.

Not every partnership starts with an equipment tender. This one started with a roll of film.

The customer in this case is a consumables trading company based in Turkey. Its business is supplying high-quality consumables to laboratories and hospitals — and a large share of the labs it serves run film-based staining and coverslipping workstations from a well-known international equipment brand. When those labs need coverslipping film, they call this distributor. That makes the quality of the film, and the reliability of the supplier behind it, the foundation of the customer’s entire business.

The two sides first made contact in the second half of 2025, through an introduction from a mutual friend in the industry. The customer’s request was specific from the start: it wanted to act as the distributor of JunTeng coverslipping film for a defined region of Turkey.

Customer requirement

What The Customer Needed

A consumables distributor evaluates a supplier differently than a hospital buying equipment does. Equipment is purchased occasionally; film is consumed every working day. The customer’s requirements followed from that reality.

Decision factors
  1. Consistent quality, roll after roll.

The end users run the film on workstations that operate all day, every day. A batch that behaves differently from the last one — in adhesion, in activation, in how it runs through the machine — becomes a support call to the distributor, not to the manufacturer. The film had to perform the same way in every delivery.

  2. A supplier that answers.

When film meets real machines in real labs, questions come up: storage conditions, loading technique, edge cases in daily use. The customer needed a manufacturer whose project team and R&D engineers would pick up the phone — or join a video call — when a question arrived.

  3. A partner, not just a source.

The customer was not looking for a one-time shipment at a low price. It was looking for a supplier to build a regional consumables business on, which meant defined monthly volumes, dependable lead times, and a relationship that could grow into a formal agency.

Solution and scope

Our Solution And Support

How we worked with the customer

The customer did not evaluate us from a distance. Shortly after the first contact, it traveled to our headquarters and R&D center in Jinan to see the coverslipping film running in person — how it handles, how it activates, how it performs through real coverslipping cycles rather than demonstrations on paper.

What followed was several months of careful evaluation and trial use. The customer tested the film with its own end users, on the workstations those labs already run, under normal working conditions. A consumables distributor with a customer base built on service quality does not sign a supply agreement after a sample and a price list. It signs when the product has proven itself in the field it will actually serve.

By the start of 2026, the trials had done their work. The customer decided to build a long-term partnership with us.

How This Project Unfolded

From first contact to running equipment, step by step.

First contact

H2 2025, referral

A mutual industry contact introduced the two sides. The customer stated its interest immediately: regional distribution of JunTeng coverslipping film in Turkey.

Factory visit

Jinan headquarters and R&D center

The customer came to see the film in actual use: real machines, real coverslipping cycles, real conditions.

Evaluation and trials

several months

The film was tested by the customer’s end users on the workstations already running in their labs. Questions raised during trials went straight to our project team.

First order and agreement

February 2026

100 rolls ordered; long-term supply agreement signed with defined monthly quantities.

Monthly supply

Ongoing

Stable monthly purchases at the agreed volumes, with support available whenever the film meets a new situation on a machine in the field.

Support loop

Continuous

Repeated online training, technical support, and video guidance sessions, each one tied to a real question from real use.

Next step

Regional agency

After half a year of cooperation, the customer has told us it intends to sign a regional consumables agency agreement with JunTeng before the end of 2026, and to raise its annual purchase volume as the partnership develops.

Service and support

Support Behind The Project

In a consumables partnership, service is not a warranty clause — it is part of the product. Film meets a new machine, a new climate, or a new set of hands every month, and each encounter can raise a question. How those questions are handled decides whether the next monthly order arrives.

A direct line to the project team and R&D

Whenever the customer’s end users ran into a question while running the film on their machines, the customer brought it directly to our project team and R&D engineers — not to a ticket queue. Equipment adjustment guidance, product training, and hands-on problem-solving were provided each time.

Repeated online product training

Sessions have been held multiple times, covering correct film handling, loading, and storage — for the customer’s own team and, through them, for the end users running the workstations.

Technical support on demand

Our engineers work through the customer’s specific questions as they arise in the field, staying on the problem until it is solved rather than until it is answered.

Video guidance calls

Real-time video sessions walk through equipment adjustment and troubleshooting, so the customer’s team can see the fix performed rather than read about it.

Project result

Where The Project Stands

Half a year into monthly cooperation, the customer’s assessment was direct: it told us that JunTeng is the most supportive Chinese supplier its company has worked with. For a consumables distributor whose entire business depends on suppliers standing behind what they ship, that sentence is the result that matters.

The measurable shape of the partnership is equally clear:

Long-term supply agreement
Signed, February 2026
Monthly purchase volume
Defined and running on schedule
Support response
Repeated training and technical sessions, each ending in a solved problem
Regional agency agreement
Planned for end of 2026
Annual purchase volume
Customer intends to increase it year over year
